The important things in my life.....

So some of you may have noticed that I am a little behind lately. I know that and I am so, so sorry. There are a few reasons for that.

First of all, spring and summer hit and so did the busy time. That means lots of family shoots, lots of new babies, and of course weddings. I have had three already since May. That is good but it does generally take me a bit longer to get it all done. Thanks to all of you for your ongoing business. I enjoy all of you.

Second, I have had some exciting things in the works for a while now. It had to stall due to some other things that I will mention in this post. But, they are time consuming at best. I was doing them in spare time but now I am on a bit of a time crunch to finish due to another exciting announcement I will be giving in the coming weeks.

Third, I hurt my back and that really put me out a few days. Sorry to those of you I had to reschedule a shoot.

And, finally the one most close to my heart. I have mentioned to a few of you about my aunt. She is a very special woman. She has been ill on and off, more on since really October. But we found out in the Middle of March that she had a tumor on her pancreas. I was very involved with doctors appointments as she is not married and had no children of her own. She is like a mother to me and very special in my heart. After many doctors and tests and what seemed like an eternity to a surgery. Unfortunatly, the surgery brought bad news. We found out on April 24 that the tumor could not be removed. It was simply too large and involved too many important vessels. It has been a difficult road since for everyone in my family since and it still is not over. Since then she has moved to a nursing home on hospice and we had to sell all of her belongings and close up her apartment. She has had some good days and some bad but the bad are getting closer together. I do not know if you know but pancreatic cancer is one of the worst. The survival rate is less than 5% they tell us. It is also the fastest growing. I will spare the details but I need you to know that if I do not anwser emails as fast as usual or return a call as fast as usual then that is why. After visiting with her today I believe the next few weeks are going to be hard and I will see her as much as often. My boys just love her and I hope to let them see her at least one more time. She has been a very intrigual part in my own life and theirs and is one heck of a special lady. Here are some photos of her and my mom and her with the boys on a nice day we were able to bring her to my moms home in May. It was her 70th birthday. Please, pray for my family in this time.
I love you dearly Aunt Gloria, or Aunt Goede as the kids call you!

FROM SMALL BEGINNINGS....

I dediced to put these two together for a special reason. The first you may have read about a few weeks ago. His name is "Mr. C" and he was born very early at just over 2 pounds. He has come great strides and I got to meet him the first time just a few days after he came home from the hospital at just over four months old. Yes, I said four months old. Look at how tiny he is. I just could not decide which to showcase, if you can not tell!! Congrats Mom and Dad, he will be great and I know he has a very lovely family. Heck, this little guy even has his own blog!!! And he is very popular, he has had more hits from various people to his proofs than any of my previous clients!!

And, now the beautiful Ms. A. I have been shooting this little one since she was just 4 pounds. Yes she was a premie too. Look at her now. Just adorable and just turned two. If you can not tell, she loves minnie mouse!!
She also found a duck guarding her eggs. Cool huh!

Daddy's hands!! Precious!

She likes peek a boo too.

OKAY, OKAY, I KNOW IT HAS BEEN A WHILE!

I have had a lot going on in my life, business, and family. So, blogging had to come last. Sorry about that. I am going to try my hardest to get caught up in the next few days. I have exciting news coming in the coming weeks but you will have to wait for it. Pay attention to this post and part of it is here. It has taken longer than planned due to some things happening in my family. I will post that soon but until then here is a huge post! Sorry for the length. Catching up is hard to do!

New family! This was another fun family! They have two older boys and now are expecting a sweet little girl. Look out boys! Just kidding, maybe. We had a lot of fun on a beautiful day at St. Peters Rec Plex.

Some stunning girls! They were both adopted and are so loved by there parents. One is destined to be a model and one is just plain adorable, I love the second one. It screams, ARE YOU IN THERE?. This one also showed a flower I caught on this shoot. Sentimental story behind it, I used to always pick these and give them to my momma when I was little. She still loves them and I still pick them. So of course, I had to shoot it. I LOVE YOU MOM!! It also gives you a sneak peak into some of the new products. Wall display's, what do you think?

Another cute family. This little guy was so proud of baby sister and boy could he make her laugh. Until the end that is when she was just soo tired. Mom was gawgess too! That always helps. I included one accident photo in here because it is just hilarious! We were playing peek a boo and I guess I missed. Can you pick it out? hee hee!

Two's a kind. This lovely couple is expecting two. Sure can't wait to meet these twin boys!! They have two nice and gawgess parents so they are sure to ham it up! hee hee

A fun engagement session. This couple chose to go back to where they got engaged for their engagement session. Whew was it hot, very humid but we made the best of it and they were troopers. Great images. Can not wait till the wedding in September!!
